Holiday Lights!

It's time to see the Holiday Lights of Thouroughbread. We will be meeting on Tuesday, Dec. 16th at 6:30pm at the corner of Sapphire and Jadite (one block North of Thouroughbread). We found the easiest way to go and avoid being delayed in traffic is to go North on Carnelian, West on Hillside and South on Sapphire. We went tonight at 7:30 and had no trouble getting in. The corner at Jadite seemed to have the most parking.

Dress warm. I recommend getting some glow necklaces from the Dollar Tree for your child to wear to help him/her be more visable to cars. Dress warm. We WILL NOT be meeting if it is raining. If you are not sure, just give me a call. See you then.

Camping was a success

Everyone had a great time camping in Yucaipa. We had a turnout of 38 people! The weather was great for the hike. All of the boys earned their Whittling Chip, learned about first aid, how to make a lanyard, and fire starters. Some tried fishing, but all of the fish stayed away. The campfire was fun and we were reminded of how much the boys love to share and talk! Thank you everyone for all of your help with cooking, cleaning and participating.

Live Oak Canyon rd becomes Oak Glen Rd. The Park entrance is on the left approx 3.5 miles down.
